Do you know anyone who should join the Makers Marketing Team?
We’re challenging the way traditional education is being run and we’re looking for marketers to help us on our mission.
Makers is Europe’s most competitive software engineering training course. Our mission is to grow and link digital talent to London’s top technology companies and global brands such as Deloitte Digital, Deliveroo and Thoughtworks.
We’re committed to diversifying the future of the technology industry: so far, over 35% of our graduates have been women (two times higher than industry average).
Life’s too short to hate what you’re doing — it’s pointless to build a business that relies on people not really loving what they do.
So we’re looking for some positive, proactive and passionate marketing people to join us in sharing the Makers story to businesses and prospective students.
You’ll be working with our Head of Marketing Alex Bailey and the rest of our marketing team. Here, Alex talks here about how this is an especially exciting time to join (we have big plans for growing the team over the next two years):
Like most young companies, we’re undergoing a lot of change. We need entrepreneurial people who can keep up with a fast-paced environment where often you are taking the lead when it comes to your own projects.
Along with that, we give you a lot of autonomy — Makers has an unlimited holiday and self-setting salary process.
Some things our marketing team has produced lately:
- We recently launched our first Fellowship, where we decided to fund a number of places to increase diversity in tech. Read more about one of our 2017 Fellows, Lewis Moore, here.
- Funmi was an accountant before she joined Makers, and then started working with Starling Bank. Read her story here.
- We teamed up with ThoughtWorks to offer fully-paid scholarships to women to give them an equal chance to an exciting career in technology:
